Pulling out my hair

So I was working out the other day and dropped a 70lb. barbell on my workout log book which was just a crappy small notebook that cost me like 4$ from target. Needless to say the 4$ book did not fair well agaisnt the weight, and it wasnt work very well for me I was only able to fit one day's worth of workout on one page and it was hard to keep organized, basically just not working out well for me. So being the designer I am i figured i could just make my own at kinkos for about the same price with stuff on it that I want. Heres an hours worth of my time. I have so many different covers for it because I have a lot of friends and my dad who would probably like this so I'm going to make a few see how they go over!

Well heres first round of non traditional book designs, its really like the 5 or 6th idea ive explored its looking decent, i find that its easier for me to let go of bad ideas these days which is nice i think instead of trying to push though/ this idea is not even half done but i like the direction its going

Ok well this is due Monday so I've been working on it a little bit. This feels close to done some minor things left, also I gotta figure out where to print it and get the paper if I'm going to have to use 2 sheets neatly pasted together or not its around 24 inches wide. Still gotta figure out what to do with the inside front of it...

Exercise 1: Graphic Design 2

Well this is my first update, we're working on a book cover for a random person in the class I ended up with someone I've somehow never met. He seems nice enough but very quiet so its hard to get a read on him. I know he likes to illustrate so I'm trying to play off that somehow. These are both just in progress for the moment I just needed to get something posted finally!
